- David A. Tijerina handles cases involving CONSUMER ISSUES, PERSONAL INJURY, AND BUSINESS DISPUTES. Mr. Tijerina grew up in San Antonio, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law. While in law school Mr. Tijerina was a member of the National Moot Court Team and the SMU Order of Barristers. After graduation he began his career with the Dallas law firm of Cowles & Thompson where he represented corporations, insurance companies and municipalities. In 1999 Mr. Tijerina left the law firm to represent people and families. From March of 2007 until March of 2010 Mr. Tijerina was employed with the Turley Law Firm in Dallas. During his career he has tried cases to verdict representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Since 2001 he has served as an adjunct professor of law at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth. Mr. Tijerina now focuses his practice on serious injury, death, and consumer cases.
